POST wedding, what happens next?

We opted for billed on consumption for drinks during our reception.
We paid so much up front as an estimate and was told we would either be refunded or charged after the event.
It's been 3 weeks now and I haven't heard from my EM since the wedding day.
Is this standard practice?

I have heard it took about 30 days to get a refund that was from previous brides.

We received our refund within 30 days after our wedding, but we weren't contacted by our WP, but instead through someone in the billing department. We were first contacted by email and then received something in the mail. If you are concerned you should contact your WP.
