On Top Gear, they were showing talking about sign language, and it got around to how to say swear words in sign language. But because it's the afternoon, they were bleeping out the swears, yet not blurring out the sign language. So that made me laugh.

Argh! Stupid report... I need screencaps from my practicals to use in it, but I forgot to email them to myself whilst I was at uni (I lost my USB stick, and I would of forgot to do it on that as well...), and I still haven't received the license so I can redo the practicals at home. At the moment, I've written that into my report, so I hope that won't impact too badly on my grade (it probably will, because 25% of the report is of images, diagrams, graphs, etc...)

Anyone Tumblr Savvy enough to tell me whether people can be notified of the tags you post if they don't follow you or whatever? Over the past couple of days, I've mentioned a question in tags, and the person I reblogged it from sent me an ask answering the question, even though they don't follow me... It's a bit unnerving because I talk about a lot in tags...

Yes, because on the right where it says "search tags" (below explore tumblr and liked posts) you can type in words and phrases that are commonly tagged (like for me i'd look up tags for "bieber" "justin bieber" "one direction" "baseball" "yankees" "disney" etc.) and EVERYONE who looks up that tag, that you have taggde your post with, can see your post, even if they do not follow you. So say you tag a post with "pancakes" everyone that goes to that searchbar and types in "pancakes" will be able to see your post because your post has been tagged under pancakes. I think that answers your question

But my tags are rarely things I'd use to look up later. Like the one from yesterday, when I reblogged something about Butterbeer Latte, and it mentioned measuring butter in tablespoons, which I've never heard of, so I put in the tags "you can measure butter in tablespoons...?", and the person I reblogged it from sent me an ask saying that butter in the USA has markings on the side for tablespoons. But she doesn't follow me (because I checked afterwards, in case she randomly decided to follow me recently and I never noticed). So that's why I'm a bit confused...

When you search the tags, only original posts tagged as those things show up, reblogs with the tags don't. So they must've just seen that you reblogged something from them and went to look at your blog/reblog post.
