Boy it hits you hard, we had the greatest time and then back to reality. We planned this trip for months with 13 of us going. Oh well time to start planning another trip!!!! I don't think we would ever try another Easter Trip. Last year Easter came in March so it made our April trip with medium crowds. This year wow was it packed. Used Fastpass and knowledge I have gained from the boards to still have a great time.

It does hit you hard!!!! Start planning and that "spark" will be back... I promise!!!!

I hear you. I got back last Thurs. and I've been bumming. So I look at my pictures and come here to read about what's happening. It's not the same but it helps.

Dh starts law school in the fall so we won't be able to go again real soon, but we WILL go again someday!

Disney, I'm done. Someone over on Rumor's page is writing her thesis or a report on why people want to come back.

Go read advice she is getting from people. Pretty interesting.

But, I will admit I like reading these message boards!:Pinkbounc

The only cure for the Post-WDW Depression Syndrome is to plan another trip! Happy planning!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I was the only one still on the boards after their trip:p !

The only cure is to start planning another. Even the DD 5 and DD 3 have started asking "How many sleeps until Disney?"

I better start volunteering for overtime!;)

Seriously, planning that trip helped me through a long, hard winter.

I said I would not have to visit the boards after our trip in 1999 (which was one of our best trips thanks to this forum) and look where I am still!!!!! :bounce:

Just start planning another trip. That is one of the best things about joining dvc. I know I will be going back (atleast once a yr).
Dh wont go more than that--although I have nothing against going without him:p .
For me I have almost as much fun planning my trip as I do taking it. Its hard not to have a big let down when you plan something for months--then go on your trip--then bam! its all over:(

I just start planning my next trip! Like everyone else says, it does help, and it helps easing back into real life after a magical hiatus easier

I buy a new guidebook for the year I am going, print off menus of the places we want to eat, and watch Disney movies - even the vacation planning video - makes me feel like I am almost there!

Just start basic planning for another trip - even if a date isn't set, you can always choose what hotel you wanna stay at, what must do's you wanna see, where to eat etc...

The withdrawal is terrible, isn't it? I start planning another trip and I DIS, alot.

I'm going to move this to our community board for you. You will find lots of comisseration there :)

I'm already dreading the post-trip blues, and I don't go until September. We are DVC owners, but my daughter will probably be getting married next Spring, and I've promised her my points for her honeymoon. That means no trip planned for 2004.

I agree with previous posters, planning is the best way to get over it.

Kelli- can't convince her to share a 2 bedroom for the honeymoon? LOL :) She better know how much of a gift you are giving by NOT getting to go to WDW yourself
