Post purchase mail

We purchased in September and closed October 4th. We received nothing in the mail except an annual fee bill. I called and got the number to access the website but wonder what if anything we should have received besides the code in the mail. I called our salesperson and was told to keep waiting? How long should it take?

I closed and paperwork was sent to Disney on Oct 11th. They have told me on Oct 19th my memebership info was sent to me via std mail. As of yesterday(didn't get amil yet today) I have not rcvd it.

The only thing that resale buyers receive is their dues bill, membership card, and later a copy of their deed.

They don't send a guide/welcome book to resale buyers even if it is their first dvc contract? How would you know the system if you didn't follow disboards? Or is this just dvc being difficult to resale buyers again?

According to recent posts, you will receive a letter when Disney has completed their process.

IMO being difficult to resale buyers is a planned intentional policy that does result in more direct buyers that don't want the delays or restrictions.

I bought resale over the summer and did receive a welcome packet with a book and point charts etc explaining the procedures for DVC. I have not received a bill for dues yet though.

Maybe this is something new that is great for resale buyers. We have purchased over 20 resale contracts and never received any info with the closing from Disney.

Maybe they only send it to first time owners?

I was a brand new owner so maybe yes.

Sweet!! I noticed letter was dated 10-19 postmark was 10-23. Oh well ! I made our 8 nite resv for May this afternoon. 2BR @ OKW All is well with the world. Next is taking advantage of the 399.00 PAP

Maybe you'll take our villa since 26th is our check out day We'll try to keep it clean just in case
