I am trying to tie in my fiance's Puerto Rican/English heritage... the English part I can get away with doing a small tea party with my bridesmaids and mom and mom-in-law... the Puerto Rican part we are adding salsa and merengue music (we are taking dance lessons together... I have 2 left German-Irish feet ). I am trying to tie it into our them somehow... which as of right now we don't really have one... so I was thinking of trying to find flowers native to Puerto Rico to put in our bouquets and boutenneirs... I found out by doing some internet research that the hibiscus is native to PR. Has anyone had these flowers in their bouquets? I have seen them and they are beautiful, I just want to make sure they'll last 2 days till our MK photo shoot... any other ideas for a little PR/Spanish influence on the reception? We are looking for subtle things... not huge things...
THanks for all your great advice on this board!! I don't know what I'd do without you guys!!!
