Post pics of your bag you carry into park

So I have seen many recommendations for this bag, and I was curious how much it holds? Perhaps someone has a picture of what they can fit in theirs for a Disney trip? Thanks!!

On page 3, DaisyLynn posted her pictures of her bags on a sofa and I also take those EXACT SAME BAGS with me (minus the coach sling).

I use the Eddie Bauer one for the plane rides there and back because it holds more. Once I get to Disney, I change over to my VB mini hipster for the parks. It's great because it holds just enough plus it has a clear pouch on the outside for keeping my KTTW that needs to shown for EMH. Another great advantage is that it's small enough to get strapped down on a ride, so I don't have to take it off, even on something like expedition everest.

 You all have fed my addiction for all things Disney and purses/bags etc. We're going in January for our first ever trip without any, repeat any, kids of any sort. Last year we went and my kids were adults so I just had my own stuff in the bag. Great. This year no kids at all and we're going in January which means none of the heat of August! I thought my bag issues were a no-brainer this time, I have plenty of them at home. I got on this and now I've been looking at links for 2 days. LOL Loved every minute of it of course. I'll be back tomorrow to keep looking. I think I've got it narrowed down but of course the bag I've decided on won't be available for shipment till the end of September. Now I'm torn if I should pre-order it at the current price or wait till it's available and hope the price doesn't go up. What do you think?

I don't carry a bag!! :lmao::lmao: My husband has an Oakley backpack and he carries our stuff....usually just our cards, ponchos, camera and water....he's tough. He can carry that thing all day through all types of weather :rotfl2:

I'm going on my first WDW and first Solo trip Dec 4th - 11th and I will be using The North Face Gunnison 18 at the parks.

I can't believe I still haven't posted pictures of my bag! My trip was back in August!

From trolling through this thread and the ones that came before it, I decided to buy the Hey's Travelmate in Navy Blue.

Here's a link to the Heys website where you can learn more about the bag.

And here are my pictures of the bag.

And here's me wearing it.

It fit very comfortably on my hip.

There are at least 3 different ways to wear this bag, so don't be fooled by the one strap it shows.

The top cover has a pocket which is perfect for putting your KTTW card and FPs. I wouldn't recommend putting bottles on their bottle compartment because it's kind of small. I could easily reach inside the bag without opening the top flap, it's only held down with a velcro patch.

The shoulder pad DOES get sweaty if it touches your skin for too long, but it doesn't get sticky, so you really don't notice it much. For the ladies that wear tank tops, it MIGHT leave a red spot there, but it goes away very fast.

If you'd like pictures of the insides of the bag and what I put in there, I'll be happy to take some for you.

For its price, it was a really nice bag. It's my favourite bag to travel with because it's not too bulky but fits all the essentials. I had my trip notebook, my JVC camcorder (the old one with the mini DV tapes) and wallet in the main compartment and everything fit snugly. I really wanted to get to Baggallini sling bag, but that one is harder to find and more expensive, especially from Canada.

I would LOVE to see pictures of your packed Heys bag ... I'm thinking about buying three of these for my three girls for our trip in April (we just can't decide on the colors - there are so many!)

Thanks!

Love this bag. I have it in purple. I used it for our Disney trip Dec 08. I love the many pockets. One for each item it seems. I just got it out to clean up. I still have Disney recipts and the smell of the bag takes me back.

I have this in green and LOVE IT! Has been my bag for our last 3 Disney Trips and MANY other places!!!!!

I'll post up pictures as soon as I can! There are SOOO many pictures. I really liked the light purple one and the bright pink one.

I hope your girls aren't too small cause it may look small, but it's more of a medium sized bag. The more popular colours are always sold out on the website, so you should try to find some in-store retailers.

This is for seattle-swarm. Here are pics of the bag.

The main big pocket. As you can see, it fits my notebook, video camera, wallet and glasses case snugly.

The smaller pocket in front. My camera and sunglasses fit just right in here.

The small pocket in front when you unzip the sides to make it bigger.

As you can see, it can expand quite a bit, and that wet pocket is perfect for holding first aid stuff that shouldn't get wet.

There's a mesh pocket under the top flap.

I hope these photos help! To give you an idea of the size of the bag, here are some pictures of it on me.

It took me nearly 3 days to read through this entire thread! lol Thanks for all of the reviews and suggestions. Very helpful!

I drove all over my area yesterday to two different TJMaxx, Marshalls, and a place this is supposedly a Baggalini carrier (I didn't see a single bag in the store-so annoying!). I saw several Travelons. Marshalls had several of the Sporty Messenger in navy and plum (looked more like grape to me). I almost bought the plum, but changed my mind at the last minute. Those were $16.99. I saw several of the regular messenger style at all of the stores. I can't remember how much those were. Sadly, none of them had any Baggalinis. I came home and I finally settled on the ebags Piazza, but I think I might order a Baggalini for our stroller bag. I have to think about it some more. Anyway, just wanted to share that ebags is selling the Piazza on ebay for $19.99 and free shipping. The only catch is that it is the Chili color. We'll see how I like it once it arrives!

This is the thread I've been looking for!! Super helpful. Last year I took a mini backpack (a freebie from the St Louis Zoo Membership) and it worked well except for a couple things:
1. it was canvas and it got dirty quickly. I washed it and it seems ok now.
2. It was a one strap backpack, which I liked b/c it was more on my side than back; HOWEVER, it would slide forward and if the side zipper wasn't fully closed stuff would fall out.

So I need more of a true bag I can wear across and sit on my hip. Bagallini looks good but I hate to buy stuff off the internet without really seeing it first. I have a few weeks still, so I can go looking at the stores.

Next: onto shoes!! Wonder if there is a similar site (with pix) for shoes??

For our August trip, I'm going to be carrying this:
376867576a334f69686e45387344547a785777-149x149-0-0.jpg

It's a Vera Bradley full-sized hipster in Very Berry Paisley! I've used a hipster on our past trip and antiquing through town. I love the hands-free function and the outside and inside pockets for organization. It's easy to overpack, but if I weed through things that I don't need, it doesn't hurt my shoulder at all. I usually switch shoulders every few hours so as not to have back pain.
The bag itself is very light and can be thrown into the washing machine to stay bright and pretty! :thumbsup2

I can't believe this thread is still going strong.
I'm a big fan on Vera Bradley bags but I don't carry them around the parks ... usually because we go to Disney during the summer and I don't want to be out in heavy rain storms with them. I also love Baggalini bags ... I always go with ebags.com to order. They have so many styles to chose from ... be sure to notice the measurements listed tho because the look of the bag online can be deceiving. That said ... on our last trip I ditched my Baggalini and went with a drawstring backpack that I picked up at the park. I just got tired of all the different pockets and not being able to remember what I put where. Plus the drawstring bag held my Vinylmation and pens that I was carrying for autographs.

Oh ... and I have to ask ... is anyone else bothered by the smell of the fabric used in the Heyes bags?
