Post pics of your bag you carry into park

For the Canadian members only. Our family of 4 all carry MEC Pods for Disney. The kids have a 7 litre (about 2 gallon?) mini-pod, and the adults have the 14 litre size. $21-25. See them at www<dot>mec<dot>ca go to Shop -> packs -> daypacks (lifestyle). (sorry - not enought posts to even add the url). Note, I say Canadians because Mountain Equipment Co-op is a member cooperative. Not sure that Americans can join without actually visiting a store in Canada.

Compared to the bagalini photos I see here, this sits higher and tighter to the body - more like a knapsack, but with a smaller teardrop profile so we never got hot. It is designed to be slung around front to open up and is very convenient for hopping on and off rides. Excellent design of the straps, quick holds tight for walking/hiking, but one quick release to slip it around/off. Has two compartments, several pockets, including one for water on side, and another for a cell phone on the front strap. My only complaint is that I dropped my cell once when I forgot to zip the strap pocket before slinging the pack to the front.

Went to the mall to look at mini hipster. Perfect size for me It will fit camera and cell...but thats it besides maybe a few small items.

The VB mini hipster would not be big enough for me (i have one that i use for other things) but the regular hipster is a good size for park carrying. Keep in mind though that it'll get really wet and soggy if it starts to pour.

Ok heres the pics... FINALLY..

Wow! nice job!:)

I don't have a picture to post, but you can still see the bag the two of us use.

Go to your kitchen pantry or cupboard, find a "sandwich" size Ziploc bag.

If it won't fit in that, I don't bring it to the parks!

After reading about all the bags discussed here, I ordered several from ebags and other places, put all my stuff in them, walked around and I immediately knew I wanted the ebag Piazza. I sent all the others back.

I was going on a three week European trip, including hot Italy and I didn't want anything on my front or back. I loved the Piazza bag on my trip and will be bringing it to WDW in two weeks. One of the things I enjoyed the most was the side water bottle holder that zips up when you aren't carrying a bottle. Thanks everyone!

Just got an email saying my mini hipster was shipped yesterday! I will have to post pics when I get it :goodvibes

I borrowed a messager bag for our trip last Nov. A few weeks ago I purchased a Vera Message Bag and took it on business trip and loved it. I can not wait to try it Disney. I have a friend who uses a backpack and likes that style. I have also wanted to try the Vera hipster.

I think it ended up costing 32 with tax, and might I add I love everything about how it is shipped down to the tissue paper...it was like getting a present :goodvibes

How do I make this picture smaller? I already changed the size in photobook but it when i copy it in, it looks like the original?

Hi all - just bought a mini-hipster from the Vera Bradley website for $22. They're having sales on older styles :thumbsup2 This thread convinced me that it's the bag for me!

Looking forward to getting it since it will hopefully fit our autograph books for the kids. :yay:

I love mine. I really hope it is big enough for the books..it is on the smaller side. I did a size check last night and put our camera, dh's phone, and antibacterial wipes and it fit. So were good to go!:goodvibes

I just tried it. It fits the blue autograph book. It doesn't fit the larger one that also holds pictures.

This is the bag we use:

We can fit our DSLR, Point and Shoot, Extra Lenses, Disney Rain Jackets (no ponchos here), umbrella, and a few small things (ie. Medicine case, memory cards, etc.). It's pretty comfortable and has a strap that locks across the chest and stomach area to help displace weight.
