Hi! I'm looking for a new bag for our trip, too. I started carrying a backpack as my diaper bag b/c I found that a regular bag was a pain if I needed to bend over to pick up a little one. I have never used a messenger-style bag...do they stay put when you bend over or would I risk hitting my child in the head with it?

I'm trying to decide between a Heys Travelmate and a VB Hipster. Thoughts?

I'm worried about it cutting into my shoulder and also being too bulky. I don't plan to overpack it (no diapers! YEAH!).

I will have my small cannon camera, wallet, autograph book/pen, sunscreen, anitbaterial, etc.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Not too sure what OP poster would say about her delivery from Lakeside, but in my past dealing with them, never order something that you want right away, it really takes as long as they say if not longer for your delivery to come.

Just went to Dillards and bought an Ameribag Healthy Back Bag Small Distressed Nylon (Item 6103) for $16.50 + tax. She said it was their last one (Desert color - not the color I would have chosen but can't complain for that price). They must have had a killer sale going on them after Christmas. Looks sturdy and just the right size for my needs at the parks and on the plane ride. Ready for Disney now!

I always bring my backpack- it's a JanSport Half Pint Mini in black. I can fit everything I need into it and it fits easily in the ride bag holders, too

My experience has been hit and miss. Just like Amazon free shipping But in response to the backpack, I have 2 purses from there and this backpack and they are great! I used my backpack all summer and at Disney and it's still going strong. I used to use an Addidas drawstring backpack but it cut into my shoulders when wearing tanks. This is nicer and cuter! I have it in blue too!

I don't know of any codes but i know the 2 stores by me that sell the bags are having 50% off sales. Do you know anywhere by you that sells it? I'd check there out first because if not 50% off, they usually have some kind of sale

In regards to the Heys I went to Zellers to take a look at one and didn't like it. It feels cheap and I think the strap would bug my kneck.

On the plus side I happened to be in Walmart yesterday and found a Buxton bag that I think I'm going to love! It was only 14.98 so I grabbed it. It seems like it would be waterproof (or water resistant anyway) and has lots of compartments. The main thing I was worried about was getting a water bottle in it but I tried one in it out of the store cooler and it fit!!

I'll try and post a picture of it soon.
