Post pics of your bag you carry into park

I ordered my PURPLE Rip Stop Nylon Baggallini from Shoebuy.com If my sister likes the look of it, I'll order one for her, but probably one in a neutral color like Khaki or black (so she or BIL would carry it).

It came to a great price, too! ($24.70 and no shipping cost, awesome!) Used paypal for mine, for my sister's I'll use my CC.

Come April 14th I'll be placing an order for some packing cubes from eBags, especially the padded cubes (not see through) for any delicate souvenirs I may have that would go in my checked luggage.

I have read all of these pages TWICE looking for a bag I wanted, but I can't find it now! It is a sling bag (I think?) that can be worn on the left shoulder instead of the right. I wear my purse over my body onto my left shoulder and would prefer a bag like that. I want to say it looked like the Travelon or the baggalini messenger. Any ideas? I ordered the Crocs sling bag, but it is worn over the right shoulder. And besides that my DH and DS15 REFUSED to wear it!:rotfl2:

I don't remember the name, but I do remember reading a post about the bag which hung on the right hip. This is the reason I wear my Baggallini Messenger Bagg in the front. I like to have quick access and it just feels more comfortable to me on my right side, with the strap crossing my left shoulder. At first I was worried it would look 'dorky' but it doesn't look much different than carrying a Hays bag...and it's on my prefered hip.

I tried out a sling type bag that you might like. It was a little small for me, so I returned it, but I really liked it. It's made by Travelon and it's in their Dolphin series. It's reversible from the left to right shoulder and I got it on bagsbuy for $25.25 (with the save10 code and signing up). http://www.bagsbuy.com/travelon-dolphin-left-right-reversible-messenger/217941

This is the link to ebags as they have better pics of the bag. http://www.ebags.com/travelon/dolph...r_bag/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=111637 It's very nicely made and the zippers work smoothly. It even came with a little rubber dolphin (named Bella) keychain attached. I ordered the blue, and it was a nice color with nice white and blue stripped lining. Even expanded and full with 2 water bottles in it, it still hung close to my body.

Last year I purchased the purple baggalinni and found that it did not work very well, for me, at WDW. It seemed bigger than I needed, the buckle cut into my neck or shoulder and the buckle would slip and make the strap too long. I was constantly adjusting it. I also thought the bag was too flimsy and floppy. I have been looking for a new bag and decided to try something new.

I just ordered the Kavu Seattle Sling on ebags with a 20% off code and free shipping.

Anyone ever try his bag?

Have been keeping an eye on this thread for a while, lots of great abgs. Bought a baggalini messenger 2 years ago, it was a little too big and floppy for me. I have no kids, just myself and my DH. Just need something small. So while looking thru ebags at all these others, I found and bought this - http://www.ebags.com/ebags/terrace_shoulder_pouch/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=94557

Small but will hold small camera, blackberry, chapstick, and enough essentials to get me thru the day w/out a big bag. Now have to glue on my disney decals with super glue as suggested earlier!

I'm sorry your baggallini didn't work out for you. I've seen a couple of people on here say the same thing about the buckle and the slipping issue. I know that many others haven't (self included), not to say that you didn't have a true problem, I'm just wondering if it's a manufacturing problem??? More people then not have a great turn out with it, that's why I'm wondering if it's something that when made it just didn't work as well as others have. I hope your new bag works better for you. :lovestruc

This thread just cost me 200.00!!

I'll take pictures once they come, but I ordered a Heys Travelmate for BF/Nephews, and a Vera Bradley Hipster for myself. Well, and a mini hipster, and a wallet with a strap, and a large backpack, and a cargo sling. I then maxed out my credit card budget and was forced to stop. Well, after I got a Libby... :rotfl:

I shall report on all, after our WDW trip. In which we may have more bags than actual things needing bags....

Just got back. I have a fanny pack, VB hipster, baggelini, overland donner (actually do love this one) but the bag that I used the most and which was seriously LOVED by the security guards was a clear plastic backpack. Ended up just using it as the Only bag for most of the trip. We were traveling with more than usual as DS is only 1 and needed baby supplies but it has been proven to me that the clear backpack is the way to go.

Yep, I use a clear back pack too! I started reading this thread and swooning over all the cool bags and debating which ones (yes, more than one! :lmao:) to order for our May trip and DD asked "What? Are you seriously getting rid of the perfect bag that you have now? Why" Guess I'll just enjoy the pictures of y'alls cool bags :sad1:

even though I'll more than likely keep my baggallini, where could I get a clear or mesh backpack if I wanted one? Only online?

LOL :lmao: I can so relate!! So far I've bought two VB Hipsters, a wallet, and a Heys Travelmate! I know that my ds and ddil are buying me a bag for mothers day, so I'm waiting to see what they buy me before buying anymore! But I keep looking and looking and looking!! I really want a VB Cargo Sling for the trip itself, not for in the parks. We'll see if I can find some more money hiding in my checking account! :rotfl:

I'm pretty new to the boards but was thrilled when I found them, especially the one about bags! I did order a Baggallini and it came yesterday. The bag was nicer than I thought it would be, and seems pretty well made. I have a Heys Travelmate that is supposed to arrive today and then I will make a decision. We are heading from Wyoming to Disney World over spring break- I know it's going to be insanely crowded. Anyway, I haven't noticed if my Baggallini strap slips yet, but has anyone tried using a large safety pin to hold the strap in place? I'm wondering if that would work, and maybe do it underneath in a spot where no-one would see it? I did want to get a VB Hipster since I'm such a fan of her bags, but I worried about rain.

I just got the Overland Davis backpack from Sierra Trading Post - great deal! I looked at the Donner bag, but with two kiddos and all the things I will need to carry, a small backpack worked better for me. I love it!! I am going to pack it tomorrow and try it out - because I am geeky that way! lol

That backpack is totally cute, especially those colors! How large is it? I know they give you the dimensions right there, but it's hard for me to imagine how it might fit on a back. It looks pretty contoured, but on the larger side (as far as small backpacks go).

I finally tacked my strap with a Mickey button I purchased at one of the parks. It did help alot. I think a safety pin, on the back side of the strap may rub, but then I always wear alot of tank tops, because of the heat in Sept. and Oct.

It feels small on my back, but holds lot of stuff! Maybe about the same size as a "child" size backpack (think Dora - not Disney Store backpacks!)

My camera is not a big slr - but is not a small point and shoot, either. So my medium camera (in the camera bag), a bottle of water, my checkbook sized wallet, passporter book, 2 autograph books and extra t shirts for my kids (5 and 7) all fit with no problem and I could fit more if needed.

There are 2 mesh pockets inside to hold water bottles and 2 pockets that would hold a small point and shoot camera and ipod/cellphone. Also a zippered pocket inside. And two zippered pockets outside that would hold smaller things (maybe like ID's or other flat items) If I can figure out how to post a pic, I will try!!

I am going to try and post some pics - first time so we'll see what happens!

I bought a Messenger style bag from AmPac 5 years ago for my Europe trip. I LOVED it. It so orgaized and pick-pocket proofed. The same style isn't available, but google it for the AmPac site for similar GREAT bags.

I got my Heys Travelmate (leopard print) from HSN today- it was 12.95 on clearance, and 7 something to ship, so just a little over $20 dollars total. I loaded both my Baggallini and the Heys Travelmate with the same items, and found my Heys bag to feel less heavy- more comfortable to wear. I'm surprised how much the Heys carries, but I love the Baggallini so much too. I think for the park I will go with the Heys though as less weight is better! I will try and post a picture of it in the morning.

I tried to post photos, but didn't realize I had to have ten posts before I could do that. I'll work on that today! ;)
