Post Photos of Hotels Here...DLH, HoJo, BWPPI, DI&S, CCI...etc.

DisneySuiteFreak, great pictures! I just booked three nights at HoJo's at the Entertainment rate: one premium view room and one kids suite, but now I'm wondering if we'd be better off at the Fairfield?

I have two kids, ages 2 and 4, so it's a certainty we'll be taking a break during the day. Although the pool at HoJo's sounds great.

Hi DisneySuite! Guess what? After your pictures and description, I booked us at the Fairfield! I booked it directly through their website and got a GREAT rate of $87 per night + tax. The total was $501.50! I can purchase our park tickets online through disney.com and that comes to $716 for 4 of us, so that's only $1217.50 total!! YAY! That saves $337 over Costco's package that included the character breakfast and $20 gift card. After talking it over with DH, he doesn't care for those anyway, and with our kids being teens, we would do better to use that savings for food and other purchases! Our son is about the same height as yours, and he curls up when he sleeps anyway, but since it's by the window and I get hot, I may end up sleeping on it myself! lol...Anyway, just wanted to thank you so much for helping me make up my mind!! :worship: The pictures did it!! Fantastic!
Looking forward to going now more than ever, especially with the airline and hotel tickets bought! Yippee!! :cool1: :cheer2: :woohoo:

:woohoo::cheer2::dance3::yay: Sounds like you have a wonderful trip planned! I hope you have a wonderful trip!

You can't go wrong at either place in my opinion. To be honest, we have been diehard Hojos fans since 2000. We've stayed there many, many times, and have even paid full price to stay there. (My DH really liked Hojos.) We really like FFI, so I think that speaks volumes. We would stay at either place for the right price.
Hojos is great if you can get the Ent rate. When I was planning my last stay, they were sold out of the room type I wanted (Premium NQQ1 - 2 queens) and it would have cost me more to stay at Hojos in a room w/ 2 double beds than for a room at FFI w/ 2 Q's. So I looked into Paradise Pier and FFI. FFI won due to price and location. We really enjoyed our stay there. The location and amenities can't be beat. We really enjoy eating at Millies and Mimi's, my son and DH also like McD's so the location for us is perfect. I don't think any of the other motels along Harbor offer a room service menu, like FFI does.
We saw so many people who walked down to McD's to get food and then had to walk back in the complete opposite direction to get back to their motels. (I overheard a several kids and teens whining about it to their parents. "why didn't we stay at one of these hotels? Now we have to walk all the way back...")
I guess, in the past, we would jump through hoops to stay at Hojos because my DH was really concerned about safety/security/parking issues. It was good to find another home away from home (FFI) that was safe and had even better amenities than Hojos. Hojos does have a cool waterplay area for kids. But our son is turning 20 tomorrow. (Where did all the time go?) The jacuzzi for adults is located near the waterplay area, so it's not a great location for those who don't have kids. The adult/quiet pool is by building 2 and it's ice cold! That's unfortunate. Anyway, I'm sure you'll have a great time at either Hojos or FFI. Have fun!

You totally sold me !! Im so excited. I was so sure I needed to get into the Hojo at one point, but the rates were to high, and when I go there is no entertainment rate, or special. I was worried until I saw the pictures and your report on your stay, Im getting so excited now!!! thank you so much for relaying my fears and I feel so much better :)

Hey Guys,

I know it has already been asked but does anyone have photos from the Peacock Suites, Anaheim??

Or even just a review...

looking up at my room from garden. Top right window. See the monorail track? Can you believe I once got into an argument with a cast member at the front desk who insisted that the monorail did not go through the Grand Californian? It sure as heck does!

Last pic for today...We got to tour the Dream Suite last year, didn't get to stay. This is the bathtub. So Pretty. The ceiling lights up and twinkles and even has a hidden Mickey. I wish I could stay there. It was awesome!
But for now...I will keep staying at the Grand Californian. It's my autistic 19 year old's favorite place. He calls it the "Green Hotel" and DLH is "Stars Hotel" and PPH is "Lilo Stitch Hotel". He's so funny.

a very rainy day in California. Old pic because now the ferris wheel has Mickey in the middle and the newly built Grand Californian Villas block the view of the Maliboomer.
I can't wait to stay in one of the Villas. They are gorgeous inside! Much nicer than the Villas at Wilderness Lodge. I've been in both and I can't see why anyone compares the two except the same guy designed them and they both have a green roof. Huh?
