Got accepted today (finally but it was worth the wait!).

Applied: 8/24
Interviewed: 8/26
Date of acceptance: 9/28
Role: QSFB

Never got a pending letter or anything, just the "thank you for interviewing" email. Funny thing is, I was notified by getting the purple folder in the mail today - I never got an email. The letter was dated last Tuesday, too, so I wonder if an email was sent and I never got it, or what!

The same thing happened to me I never got the email just the folder, but hey either way. Congrats!!!

I GOT IN!!

I got an acceptance CALL! Today @ 12:10 pm!! I was reluctant to pick up the phone because it said Restricted and I thought it would be someone from my current job that I wasn't in the mood to listen too LOL. But on that third ring something compelled me to pick it up!

I got into attractions for Anaheim! I'm so excited, I could shoot through the roof right now, but I'm still in complete shock. I waited 4 weeks 5 days for that good news! My interview date was 8/29, got the thank you email on 9/01 and had been waiting so impaitently ever since.

Good luck to all of those who are still waiting, DO NOT GIVE UP! Your time will come! and a big huge CONGRATS to all those that already got in!

I was just accepted into the DISNEYLAND program today! Technically, I was accepted yesterday when they first started accepting people but I missed the initial call, she even called me back later the night to tell me, but I had missed it again! So I am REALLY excited and can’t wait for three months to pass by so I can make my way to Cali! By the way----Interviewed: August 8, Acceptance via Phone: September 30 I was told I would find out in 3-6 weeks found out 3weeks and 1 day. I’ll be Merchandise!

I'M IN!!! I got my yellow folder today! I've got QSF&B!

I had made a huge ordeal about no one else getting the mail yesterday (father didn't listen), and today was sure I was going to get it first. I had just eaten after getting home from work and was in the shower when dad knocks on the door and tells me I should go get the mail. Naturally, I jump out and managed to walk sedately down most of the driveway. At the end, I ran, and there it was. The big, gorgeous white envelope! Dad had said the mailman had tried to give him the mail, but he made him put it back. So, brilliant me decided to run all the way up the very long driveway without shoes ('cause I can't run in flip flops). I don't exercise, so I got to the house and collapsed in the floor. It made for some great pictures, let me tell you! But I've got it! I'm in! I'm euphoric!

I already posted in the spring 2010 thread but I thought I should post here. I got accepted today for CS spring 2010 FSFB! I slept late today and my dad called me on my cel down in my room. He got out "you have a letter from Dis..." before I had run upstairs and grabbed the envelope out of his hand haha! There is a little problem though. I applied for the WDW program and that is what my acceptance letter said I was in, but all the other literature in the folder was for the DL program!?! Also, it didn't have the checklist with the web address I need to accept the invitation. I called and left a message explaining this so I hope I will hear back Monday. If not I will call again Monday evening. It seems to me I have been accepted to the WDW program and somebody just messed up putting together my packet. What do you guys think?

Ok, so I called Disney about an hour ago and talked to Danielle. She explained what was up.

Apparently, several of the CareerStart orange folders for the WDW program went out with the DL program materials inside them by accident. They are aware of the problem and they are sending out new packets. If you were one of the ones affected, you DO NOT need to call or email. If your folder had the proper materials in it, don't be surprised if you receive a second acceptance packet.

My daughter applied online 09/25, she had her telephone interview on 09/29 and received her acceptance email this morning. She will be a lifeguard but also is going for a character audition in November in Austin.
