Been to WDW quite a bit for the last 16/17 years and it never fails....I get so down upon my return. I am pretty good at gauging or pinpointing a reason for most things but I really find myself stumped here as far as a reason for being down. When I say down, I am not talking about needing psychiatric help....but more in the way of wanting more. I've lived in the Northeast my whole life but I've been thinking about how happy a few palm trees and some sunshine make me feel.
My family and I went to visit family in Kissimmee in 2010 on Christmas day and it was cold in Orlando but the blue sky and palm trees put me in such a good mood. I am not sure if I'm just a Disney psycho, a tropical climate psycho, or if I am just ready to make a commitment to purchase some property down there like a condo or townhouse [giving me a reason to go more often]. I'm a teacher and have a ways to go to retirement but I guess it's never too early to start.
I wonder if Disney employees feel the same or if working there becomes just a job and nothing else?
Can anyone empathize with this?
