Hi everyone,
So I am currently waiting on my decision from the DCP and just wanted to open up a dialogue why someone might be rejected after an interview? Keep in mind that I don't know that I have been rejected, but have been waiting since late January so am feeling stressed and a bit unsure. I have been accepted into several grad schools in a field working with children, have copious experience working minimum wage jobs in retail & food service, smiled on the phone, chose a wide variety of roles as high, medium and low interest, and answered questions confidently and appropriately. I did research and followed a lot of the advice I found online about the application process.
Do you have any idea why I might be rejected; or why I haven't heard back yet? I just feel as though if I am able to be accepted into graduate school (after being interviewed in person), I should really qualify for the DCP! I am just feeling a little frustrated and would therefore love any perspectives. This is my last chance to apply, and it has been my dream for a while.
