Post Cruise DATW List (Updated)

Ok, anyone from the greater Michigan area will know...a sure sign of spring!

If you can get this beer near you...run don't walk and get some! They only brew it in the spring/summer.

Please add my name to the list! My fiance and I will join in the fun. We're not big drinkers, but that slushie and a margarita sound great!

I am not a big beer drinker, but Anchor Steam is one of my favorites. So, here is to it being Friday and 4-weeks from the cruise. Cheers!

I had an interesting beer a couple of weeks ago. It was a German import apparently meant to compete in the super light low calorie genre. It was called Warsteiner Premium Hilight. Not bad. Better than Michelob Ultra, but not the type of high flavor, strong hops beer most of the beer lovers are looking for.

Impressive beer tasting skills Dodie! :thumbsup2

 Ahh. But is this really a good skill for a good girl to have?

Thanks for the props! It was pretty good stuff. I'd drink it instead of Michelob Ultra if it were available - always watching the carbs you know!:)

And I expect to be joining you George! :thumbsup2

A few beers for you on this Friday afternoon! Enjoy!

:rotfl:Ironically, Phillip wouldn't drink a beer if his life depended on it! :) He's a margarita, amaretto sour, whiskey sour man all the way. I'll make sure he knows that I'm popular with the beer tasting crowd though. ;)

My favorite used to be Tennants, the Scottish lager that they used to sell at the Rose and Crown in Epcot. We couldn't get it anywhere locally and I liked it, so it was a treat/ritual for every trip. Then they stopped carrying it at Epcot.:headache: Bless his heart, Phillip tried to find me some for Christmas :lovestruc this year, but could only find it in kegs. :scared1: It's the thought that counts.

I do remember Tennants but unfortunately have never had any. I used to collect Tennants Girls cans.

You beer lovers need to come to my neck of the woods -- Portland has over 28 breweries!

I don't see the problem here! :lmao:

Hello,

My wife and I just signed up for the Podcast Cruise last week and we are spending all our free time trying to catch up on all the happenings.

On Friday, my wife has to drive to Jacksonville for a work-related meeting, so I had planned to visit EPCOT solo to see the Flower and Garden Festival. Would it be possible to join you for the Drinks Around the World? It sounds like a lot of fun and I'm sure I'll be wishing for company by then!
