Post closed with a lock sign

Yesterday I started a new post thread and looked at it this morning and it was closed with a lock what does this mean?

It means for whatever reason the mods chose to close and lock it so nobody can post anything else on it.

That means nothing new can be added to the thread.. my guess is because of some of the responses your thread was getting.

Yes, some of the responses were really negative/flaming accusatory.
It is against guidelines to personally attack another poster.

I would love to hear the answer to that one question I asked!!!

A note to the OP, who may not be aware of all the parameters of closed threads: It is a violation to restart a discussion that was going on in a thread that was closed by a moderator.
