We plan on visiting DL between Dec 29 and Jan 3 and all the horror stories of crowds are scaring me!! We did WDW the same time last year and had a great time, but I'm still nervous. I know we need to get to the park early - we always try to do that on our trips to WDW. What time should we get to the entrance in the morning (we're staying at the DLR). Do you think it's too late to make meal PSs? I feel so disorganized this year!! UGH!!!

First stop should be Matterhorn as it is NOT fastpassed at you will wait forever if you save this one till later.

Pirates, Roger Rabbits, and Star Tours are NOT connected to the main fastpass system, so take this into consideration. Get your Indy, Haunted Mansion, or Splash fast pass early.

At DCA, I have noted that on my October visit the park was open 1/2 hour before stated opening AND allowing Soaring over CA rides. You will probably want to ride Soarin' more than once, so take this into consideration. I have never needed a fastpass for Grizzly River Run (I think it is an unconnected machine anyway)
Calfornia Screamin' also fills up so fastpass fastpass fastpass.

They will not let you on the rides early, but they will allow you to use them after the time period.

If DL is crazy, just hop over to DCA and decompress - it literlly is steps away (as is DCA)

Go ahead and try for priority seatings. You never know.
