Post Cards

How does one get a post card? Are they sent to people who have stayed there before? I'm just curious - A friend of mine received one and got a fantastic rate on a deluxe in 2003.

This is a question that no one can seem to answer. It seems it is done randomly without any rhyme or reason that anyone can decipher. I guess you just have to feel lucky when you receive one of these elusive little gems and hope it is good for the dates you are planning to go to the world.

My DH gets the postcards in his name and I have never received one in my name. My name is first on our reservations too. We received one for June of 03 and then received one for Dec of 03 with a rate for 109 at AKL which I am sure was a standard view, but still that's amazing for the holidays. My step mother has never received one and she booked our first trip in June of 01 through AAA. I'd love to know their strategy. Both were comeback offers.
