Post Card Pin Codes???

I just read a few posts by people who received "post card pin codes" for discounts the Disney resorts. What is this, and how do I sign up??? As I read on it sounds like some people have "codes attached to their names?" I'm totally confused, yet very interested in understanding this. Can anyone explain please. Thanks so much!

YES, I'D ALSO LIKE TO KNOW HOW THESE PEOPLE GET A POSTCARD. A LADY I WORK WITH RECEIVED ONE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO ,FOR THE VALUE RESORTS(I THINK IT WAS $59 /NITE)CAN I USE HER POSTCARD FOR THE SAVINGS ,SINCE SHE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT OR IS IT GOOD ONLY FOR THE PERSON IT WAS ADDRESSED TO? HOW CAN I GET MY NAME INCLUDED ON THE LIST FOR FUTURE MAILINGS?I'VE BEEN TO DISNEY 5 TIMES AND WOULD LIKE TO GO AGAIN THIS SUMMER!!!THANKS

First off MEG&MINNIE, please turn off the caps lock. In chat rooms and discussion boards all caps is considered shouting...... just fyi.

As far as postcard codes go, no one really knows who is determined to get them, though there are many theories. Disney supposedly sends them out at random......

You could get on their mailing list by signing up at disneyworld.com, ordering from disneydirect.com or things like that.

Meg&Minnie, you cannot use your friends code. The PIN number for the code has to be in your profile at Disney. They know who has received postcards and only the person it is intended for can use it. The only way you could get in on the cheap rate is if your friend went with you and was listed on the reservation.
