Last campout of the season. Spent Wednesday thru Sunday at the Kentucky Horse Park. With the exception of Thursday's rain, weather wise was a pretty good week. The Horse Park was hosting the United States National Dressage Competition this week. Just like the Hunter Jumper competition earlier in the summer, this event was open free to the public. Also met Donna and Garon Stutzman, who were camped across the road from Teresa and I, who coordinated the fundraising and restoration efforts of original borax wagons that hauled borax through Death Valley. Many may remember the western "Death Valley Days" as told by the "Old Ranger" sponsored by Pacific Coast Borax (20 Mule Team Borax). Classic old westerns
They were also the owners of the only mule to qualify for the national dressage finals. If interested, here is a link to a YouTube video that documents their efforts in the restoration of the borax wagons.
After a good week at the Horse Park, came home on Sunday and gave the camper a good cleaning. Winterized the camper on Monday in 68 degree weather and woke to about an inch of snow on the ground and 26 degree weather with a 17 degree wind chill on Tuesday.

Some pics from the competition and from inside the Alltech Arena.

Also went to the UK vs UT football game and "that's about all I have to say about that"
