So, we're a family of 3 from Australia - me, my Mum and sister.
We often visit Disneyland, having gone twice last year and have only done WDW once back in 2000.
I'm hoping to pursuade everyone to trek over to Florida again around mid-late June this year. (hoping to be at Disney from 18th-30th June.)

I know it's fairly soon - a little less than 80 days from now, but I feel it could all work out fine, as we've done the same for Disneyland last year (booked in April, that is.)

Only thing that's terrifying me is the ADRs!!! Having not visited in 11 years and not really knowing what the best places are to eat, I'm getting really worried about everywhere being filled up!

What are my chances of still finding good places to eat each day?? I'm not used to having to make reservations at Disney - in Disneyland we just walk on in!!
HELP!!!

For my family, I start by picking my park for each day and plan the ADRs around that.

Magic Kingdom - Crystal Palace for breakfast and Dinner at Cali Grill or Hddr or back at your hotel TS

Ep - I would pick a monorail hotel for breakfast or hotel breakfast (or princess Norway)

If you have hoppers you can go to another park for dinner

Yeah, we'd definitely be getting park hoppers.
Probably going to go for the 10 day park hoppers if this trip gets the go ahead!
Thanks for the info!! :goodvibes

Only the real popular places will be filled up completely at this point, not everything. Though as time goes on, more and more places will fill up.

However, there's a solution. Since you are within 180 days for the totality of your trip, you can make reservations for it all without having a room booked. Why not sit down, figure out a plan and make those reservations now?

If the trip doesn't happen, you can always just cancel them without issue.

As far as general plans? I go solo, so my perspective is a little different, but a few things that I do are:
  • Get a plan for each day going. Parks, what you need to see, etc
  • Separately, get a list of restaurants and their general locations (Park, Park Area, DtD, etc)
  • With both lists, try and place the restaurants where they fit the best. Keep in mind that when hopping, you can easily use a resort meal as a "transfer point". Take a bus (or other transportation) from the park to the dining resort, then head to the new park right from there.

As far as what to choose? That's the tricky part. I'd suggest going through the menus and seeing what perks your interest. At least that'll get you started.

I'm going on June 13-23, so just before the dates that you're planning on. I've been tweaking and retweaking my ADRs all along and I've had no problems at all still getting into the restaurants that we'd like to eat at the approximate times we'd like to eat...and we're a party of 7.
