My kids are on spring break a week later this year than most the schools. Since Easter is March 23rd I think most schools are off the week before or after.

So how crowded do you think it will be during that time? This will be our first trip so I don't want my kids to wait forever for everything.

Most school districts no longer schedule Spring Break exclusively at Easter, and you'll find as many different weeks as you will school districts! Our Spring Break is April 14-18 for example. I think you'll find the parks at least somewhat crowded throughout March and April.

You may want to subscribe to Touring Plan to view their calendars and crowd estimates.

We'll be there then, too. Supposedly the week before and after Easter are two of the busiest weeks in the park and then it's supposed to get a little bit better starting the 30th this year. In general, mid-Feb through mid-Apr are some of the busiest times in the parks due to all the different school and college spring breaks.

My best advice is to arrive at rope drop when the park is the least crowded and make good use of FastPasses throughout the day. Pick the things in each park that are the most important to everyone and don't try to do everything.

Our plan regarding crowds this year is sort of to expect the worst and hope for the best...it's the only time we could fit a trip in and I'm sure we'll have a great time regardless!

We have been there that week for the past two years. Spring break for us is always the first week in April. It is EXTREMELY crowded but we chose to go anyway due to DH's job-that's the only time he could take off work when the kids would be out of school. I would recommend to get to each park as soon as they open, since mose people seem to roll in around 10 or 11. Definately take advantage of fastpasses and extra magic hours, and have some kind of plan in mind as far as what you're going to do each day. Good luck!
