Possible to skip the Enterprise counter?

I'm an Enterprise Plus member. Is there a way for me to skip the Enterprise line at the Orlando airport? I know they have kiosks at MCO, but the last time I rented there (December 2020), they were non-functional and everyone had to wait in line (just brilliant during an epidemic). Has anyone rented from Enterprise in the last year or so, and noticed if those kiosks are open, allowing you to now skip the line? I'll be going during spring break, so skipping the line will make a difference.

Are you part of the Emerald Club? To my knowledge, only Emerald Club members can bypass the counters and go straight to the "Emerald Aisle" pickup area.

No, I'd never heard of it until you mentioned it. Membership costs $50 a year & your selection is limited to whatever happens to be in that aisle so not interested.

At airports pre-Covid I've been able to enter my information into an Enterprise kiosk & get sent to my car before. Orlando has those kiosks. Does anyone know if they're operational now?

I do not pay for any club, just their rewards program that's free to everyone to sign up for. I've never waited in any line to rent at MCO. We always sign up for the clubs and complete whatever process they have for straight to the car option.

How did you do that? Pay in advance? I book via Costco, so you don't pay until pick-up. If you pay at the time of booking, do you get to skip the line?

I never pay in advance. We are charged when the vehicle is returned.
I never rent through a third party either. Only direct with the vendor.
I simply follow the instructions they give to skip the counter.

Okay, so I just booked directly via Enterprise & cancelled my Costco reservation, after checking & finding that the price was the same, anyway. So much for the supposed Costco discount. My Enterprise Plus account does have a payment method attached to it, so maybe I'll be able to skip the counter. It says that I will be charged upon renting the car.

The confirmation page mentions a kiosk that I can use to expedite the rental process at the airport, which is what I remember using in the past, but no mention of going straight to the garage for pick-up. I searched through the Enterprise website & found that they started "Advance Check-In" due to Covid, but when I clicked on that link in a couple of different places, it always took me back to the generic main page, so I'm wondering if they've discontinued that service.

Do you have the app? The app is what I've used.

It's possible something has changed. We last rented in April 21 and they definitely offered straight to vehicle for that rental

I recently booked a rental through Enterprise for the first time and had the same question. From what I can tell from their website, it's only available at certain locations - and Orlando is not one of them.

I rented with Enterprise this past January at MCO. Walked into the garage, up to the podium where they scanned my QR code and sent me out to the correct aisle. Was driving out of the garage four minutes after walking out of the terminal.

Thanks, that sounds encouraging! And you didn't have to check in at the counter first? Or did you use a kiosk?

I did not got to the counter inside. Never saw a kiosk. There was a podium outside of a hut right when you cross the street and enter the garage.

I know this is an old thread, but were you able to skip the counter? I've been looking for that same answer and haven't been able to find it.

I ended up booking via a different company, so I never found out. Sorry.
