Possible to rent pts for multiple rooms?

I am looking into hosting a family reunion at WDW in 2004. I would like to pay for the rooms myself. Is it possible to rent points for multiple rooms? What I would like to do is rent points for 10-12 rooms for about a week. Is that possible for a DVC member to secure that many rooms? I would need a LOT of points and may have to rent from multiple members. Suggestions, advice? Is is do-able?

You probably will need to rent points from several members. It might help if you let everyone know what types of rooms you need - the number of people you intend to invite, and the number who might stay together. The studio and one-bedroom each hold four. The two bedroom holds 8. If you can get them, the Grand Villa holds 12. Also, which resort did you want to book the rooms at? The member can make the reservations at 11 months out at their home resort, but only 7 months out at other resorts.

You might get a better deal by contacting Group Sales at Disney.
