Possible to get pin code after booking?

Just curious if having a room already booked means I won't likely get a pin code. I don't think I've had one in years but it would be nice if its possible.

I certainly hope it's possible! My stepmom wanted to book our room right away, even though we're not going until 2016! So now, I'm really hoping I will get another code for that time frame! (got my first one ever last month)

I have seen many people post on here that they booked a room, then used their PIN when they got it to lower the cost after the fact, so I think it's possible. Good luck to you!!

My BIL received a PIN after he booked his room. Two of my SIL's also received PINs after booking their rooms. I hope you get one that works for you!

There's no rhyme or reason as to who gets pins and who doesn't as it's just random, but it is possible to get one even if you already have a reservation .

Okay thanks, that's good to know. I just didn't want to decrease my chances by booking early if they eliminated currently booked guests from whatever pool they use to send out pin codes. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I booked my vacation and then received a PIN code. I was able to apply the discount.

We booked our room and then got a PIN code too. I called and talked to Disney about it and then searched Orbitz while on hold. It turns out that the Orbitz price is still a better deal than the PIN anyway!

Eta: I should add that we originally booked through Orbitz.

Yes, you can. Last year we booked our August trip in October. Added the room only discount that came out in the spring, then got a pin code for the same room only discount plus free hoppers, so we called and added that.

So there is hope

Glad I came across this my DH was asking the same question. Interested in booking a room only ressi,DH gets a discount on tickets through his employer, hoping for free dining early December but I'm not counting on it. I think we have a good chance for a room discount.
