We just found out we have to move our trip up one week, which means we have more flexibility (somewhat) and I'd like to add a day at SW for me, Mom, the one planning and fretting over this entire trip!!!!! Okay, can you tell the tension is building??
Anyhow, we definetly want to do the MNSSHP and thought we would skip Disney during the day on the day of the party and head over to SeaWorld.
I have never been to SeaWorld, so don't know if this is a do-able plan. Could we see SeaWorld, then have enough time to go to the halloween party??
Thanks!

We've never been to SeaWorld so I can't help you there.

Personally, my concern would be could we tour SeaWorld during the day and then have enough energy to make it through MNSSHP (7pm-midnight)? Last year was our first year to attend MNSSHP and I was SO glad that we took a looooong nap in the afternoon before the party (we'd toured MK that morning). I don't think we would have made it through the party if we hadn't taken that break.

If you have the energy, you definitely have the time. Sea World is not very far from WDW, so you could get back by 7:00pm. If you can sleep late the next morning, I'd say go for it!

If you have the energy and the stamina then go for it. I hadn't been to Sea World in about 10 years and went last summer, I was very impressed with all the improvements, don't miss the pet show.....I don't think I could ever get my cats to do any of those tricks! Start early at SW and give yourself some time to return to WDW since I4 becomes very crowded at rush hour. I would say you should be done at SW by 4pm if you get there early. So you may even have a couple of hours to relax before the party! Have a great time. Most of the shows at SW can be planned one after another.

I wouldnt plan for less than a full day at SW. It is ALOT of walking (I was exhausted) and the best part is Shamu Rock America which was at the end of the day. This was about a year ago. Also, while at SW, try to take one of the backstage tours. I have been on the Terrors of the Deep tour, and the Antartic tour (I just adore penguins). You'll also want to be there early in the AM to feed the dolphins, If your fam is anything like mine:sunny:

Seaworld typically closes around 7 PM (9 PM on weekends) in October. It's not far from MK (15 minutes), but there is a lot to see and do at Seaworld to keep you busy. If you have the stamina to cap the day off with 5 hours at MNSSHP, go for it!

A friend of mine did it last year and regretted it. They stayed at Sea World til 3, I think, then went back to their room for a nap. Even so, they were too tired from Sea World to enjoy MNSSHP. But they had a 3 year old and a 9 year old with them. Older kids might do fine.

At the last minute last year I planned the MNSSHP day as an off day. I personally think it was the best thing I did. I was really leary because we were already taking an off day the day after the party and I wasn't sure about 2 in a row. We didn't get that runned down feeling I think we would of gotten otherwise. We got the the gates at 4pm (took advantage of the early entry w/ MNSSHP ticket) and stayed right to closing. It was great!!
