There is a post on the main board stating that Pepper Market at CSR will be changed to a TS buffet for all three meals as of December 4. This post claims that the only CS at the resort will be Rix Cafe, which will expand its menu, and the pool snack bar. In addition, according to this post, Maya Grill will discontinue breakfast and be open for dinner only.

The poster claims to have gotten the information from a server at CSR, but there's absolutely no independent confirmation of this so far. Just a heads up for those traveling to CSR on or after December 4.

Would this be possible to do on December 4th due to contracts? Wouldn't the contract that WDW has with the company that runs the Pepper Market prevent a change like this until at least current contract runs out and the new one takes effect, which would be January 1?

Well, it totally depends on the contract. Plus, if both sides are willing, the change can still be made. If the company that runs Pepper Market approached Disney with the idea and Disney thought it would work, there would be nothing preventing it.

Oh please, tell me this isn't true.

We just booked an April stay buying the quick service plan, which you have to have staying at Coronado, cuz the food court prices are so high. But now that all the dining plan prices are through the roof, we were looking forward to using counter service credits at Pepper Market and getting our money's worth.

Crap. Say it ain't so, Joe

The updated info says that "for now" PM will remain a CS for all three meal services but will change to buffet for breakfast and lunch effective 12/4 and the current menu options will remain for dinner.

Maya Grill will not have a breakfast service any longer and will be still be a TS with a new dinner menu coming out late Dec./early Jan.

Over on the the Buzz2001 website there are updates posted as they come in. No word yet on what food will be offered in the buffet.

How can you have a CS buffet? Everyone will be rushing over there to get all you can eat for a CS credit. I guess maybe that could be what they want.

The breakfast buffet is $15 and the lunch buffet is $17. Great use of a CS if you're staying at CSR, or have a car. I'm not sure it's worth using Disney transportation for breakfast or lunch.

Non-Disney restaurants, including Pepper Market aren't yet listed in the 2012 dinning brochure. I'll speculate the buffet will require a TS credit in 2012.

At a $17 buffet, I would not expect the highest quality of food. It would probably be a very simple buffet.
