Possible November trip

Looking to possibly go to Cali in November for Thanksgiving. If so, we will do 4 nights at DL. Would it be better, crowd-wise to do 11/16-20 or 11/26-30?
Secondly, at WDW kids under 3 in a crib don't count towards occupancy. But on the DL site it keeps giving me only rooms that sleep 6 people...like it is counting the baby. What gives?

I would believe that the earlier dates would be better crowd wise- there should be less people because most kids will be in school then still. However I haven't checked to see if there are other events that could change the crowd level. If you are interested in Christmad decor, it should be fully up and running the day after Thanksgiving so that could change your plans too. Thanksgiving day/break is a cl 10 type visit so know what you are getting into before you go and with realistic expectations you will be fine either date!

I would actually opt for the second set of dates. I think the week days are going to pretty much the same, but the weekend before turkey day is likely to be busier than the weekend after. At least that is how we have experienced it several times in the last 5 years. We have found with the blocked out dates the weekend after turkey day feels just like a normal busy weekend.

LAUSD takes the whole week of Thanksgiving off.

Every room occupant, including infants count towards occupancy limits in CA, not just at Disney. If you have 6 people including an infant you'll need 2 rooms or a suite with a 6 person occupancy.
