As reported on Screamscape.........................................

2005? - Broadway Style Musical - Semi-Confirmed - (8/22/03) Disney’s Exec. VP for Creative Entertainment (Anne Hamburger) confirmed in a German stage/muscial magazine interview that construction would likely begin soon on a new Hyperion Theater (broadway style theater building) somewhere in WDW that would feature an all new show based upon one of the Disney’s Princesses, and not a copy of the Aladdin show at California Adventure.

Anyone know anything about this? Scoop? Oh, Scooooop? Anybody else? Do any of our research assistants want to track down the German mag or the interview?

**Disclaimer** In posting this I am in no way saying I think that this rumored theatre and stage show will actually come to pass, nor will it be "spectacular" if it does. I'm simply seeing if anyone has heard anything about this possibility. Therefore, there is no need for quippy responses telling me not to believe everything I read. If you know this to be false a simple statement to such effect would suffice. Thanks.

I have no information about the story, but I must say that I do like your disclaimer!

Hehe.................Truth be told, I've been beaten up before for *asking* about such rumors in the past. Funny, this is the rumors board. Anywho, I've taken to qualifying some of my statements. Glad you enjoyed it ;).

Yea, I know what you mean! Ain't it the truth? :p

**Disclaimer**
LOL.

I don't know anything about a new show, but for me Beauty and the Beast has run its course.

The three shows at Tokyo DisneySea - Broadway, Little Mermaid and Mystic Rhythms (my fav anywhere) are all excellent and I would love to see whoever did those shows take over at WDW.

Extremely unlikely, IMHO. There are plenty of unused stages and theaters at WDW already, so why build a new one?
Of course, this *IS* Disney we're talking about, so you never know...
