I spoke to member services as I had this issue when trying to modify an existing reservation to Aulani. They said that you now can’t modify an existing reservation to another state, so I had to cancel the existing and make a new reservation.

Interesting. I haven’t checked again, but Hilton Head was not blocked for me when AUL and Vgc were.
