Possible last minute trip in April: any better weeks?

I might need to head down to WDW in April kind of last minute. Are any weeks better than others, in your opinion? I've lost track of when all the new stuff is opening and all of the construction goings on....I also haven't researched april crowds at all, so any help is appreciated! TIA~

Never having been there in December, the most crowded we ever found it was during Passover/Easter time. This year I would think it will be packed from April 10 through 22 (give or take a day).

avoid the last 2 weeks, it's spring break for Orlando area school, which traduce to Holiday season it is even block out for the platinum annual pass holders, big crowds and higher prices

this has Orange County Schools Spring Break as March 20-24

Hillsborough, Alachua, Marion, Polk, Osceola, Brevard are all in March or before Easter.

At the moment I'm looking at these three options...anyone want to weigh in???

Option 1:
April 25-29 POR River view $865

Option 2:
April 29-May 3 POR Royal Room Standard view $867

Option 3: April 1-5 AKL Standard $1100

Any thoughts? I've never stayed in a royal room, because we're usually traveling with all 5 of us, but we're not bringing everyone this time. POR is my favorite mod. But going up to AKL isn't much more, but it's much sooner! WWYD?
