Possible good news about PI...

It's been all over the news the past 2 days that the Virgin Megastore in Downtown Disney will be closing at the end of the summer, leaving Disney with a huge venue to try and fill.

I also know that the Adventurers Club is still being used as the Adventurers Club at least through the summer for various special events.

I still hold out hopes that they may re-open it. Of course I could just be dreaming

What was the official title of the guy who publicly announced that the reason PI was closing was because "guests wanted more places to shop and dine"? I think he was bending the truth a bit.

I'm gonna miss the Virgin megastore and the DVC discount we had there.

They had DVDs and such you just can't find around here, and I like to browse rather than try something online at Amazon by title.

That would be my hope. Since the facility is still in the same state it was in when it closed and hasnt been rented, and the fact that guests are "voting with thier wallets" when it comes to the "request for more shops", we'll see.
