Ok, on the resorts thread, I saw a posting asking if EMT's and other emergency workers are entitled to a discounted room at WDW. I know there are some occupations (teachers, nurses, etc) that get a "discount" at some hotels.
First, why is this? I just wondered why certain occupations get discounts while others who also work noble professions are not offered such discounts. How come Doctors don't get the discounts but nurses and firefighters do? Are daycare workers excluded? Why?
I'm not trying to start a fight, i'm really just curious.
