Possible Availability OKW studio Jan3-10

I have a two bedroom unit and have yet to get confirmation of availabilty and getting a lock out unit.
If I do, I will probably attempt to rent out the studio portion:
I am trying to see what interest there might be and how much ($) I might be able to expect.
We are leary of renting out to strangers, but I am trying to recoup some of my expenses.

Be aware that if you have reserved a 2BR villa (even if it's a lock-off) that both the 1BR and Studio will have the same room keys and they will open the exterior doors to both units. Also, any charges/phone calls made to the units will appear on one statement.

If you want to rent a studio and use a 1BR for yourself, you'll need to cancel the existing reservation and rebook it as two reservations- a studio and 1BR. It will cost a few more points, but will sure solve the other issues as each room will have their own keys and room bill.

When you are certain what you're going to do, you should post your availability on the Rent/Trade Board.

At this point, also be aware that any changes made to that reservation will result in points going into a holding account since you are now within 30 days of travel (MS has closed for the day and tommorow is the 30 day mark). Unless you are really looking for roommates, you may be better off just using the entire villa for your family.

At OKW when you rent a 2 bedroom unit you will get just that without a seperate studio attached unless there is some high demand for two bedrooms. I would really listen to what Doc says on this subject. You could be headed for a real head-ache with this situation. If you request a one bedroom with a studio attached you should have no problem getting it at OKW that time of year. I can not stress enought to listen to Doc on this one.
