Positive Review- Avis Rental/Costco

Just letting everyone know we had a good experience booking a rental through Costco for Avis. Don't remember the rate exactly, but total bill was $204 for 7 days in a Chevy Impala (great trunk space).

Service at the counter was good, and the return at 5 am went smoothly in the parking garage.

Here's another thumbs up for Avis. Last month we lucked out with an upgrade to a LeSabre for the price of an Impala. Service was good on pickup and return. Easy in - Easy out!

I love Avis, but there rates aren't usually as competitive as National, Budget and Alamo. Avis seems to have newer cars.

We are from Delaware and drive to WDW every year (hate to fly). We always book Avis through Costco. Avis is always the lowest price option out of the big rental companies.

I booked through the Avis website alone and then through the Costco website, our rate was $52.00 lower! A nice little savings.

I use Avis for business rentals (company policy) and they keep giving me those crappy Chevy Classics for intermediate. The last one I rented in Atlanta, I had to slam the back door to get it to shut. The ironic part was another coworker rented one also and had the same problem! National is our second choice for car rental, I may see if I can use them next time. They just upgraded me to Executive level through a company offer.

Ive had Chevy Impala's and Buick Centurys with 500 miles before. Generally speaking though, most cars at MCO (regardless of company) seem to be nice because they are replaced often (allmost never see a rental car over 2 yrs old).
