In light of the current thread about the waterlogged boats at POTC I thought I'd start a thread where people can check in with positive and/or dry experiences recently. I don't want this to be a rehash of teh same thread, more of a roll call of folks with a thumbs-up.

Anyone? Anyone?

We rode POTC after the refurb, on October 7th. Two regular-size adults with one small size adult, middle row...no issues, with water or stopping of the boat! I will say, from the reaction of the front row, there MAY have been some water splashed on them after the small drop.

We were on it 10/27. The boat was full and we were in the 3rd row. A very small amount of spray came over the sides, but the bottom of the boat was pretty wet. Didn't hear any crazy screams or see anyone get soaked, but front row likely had more water than we did judging by how wet the boat was. Ride was great, didn't stop too early or breakdown as it did the last several times we rode in the last few years.

we got sprayed a little from the sides from canon balls but nothing awful. It did surprise a few people.

We rode it last week and while there was a little spray at the bottom of the drop and again by the cannons, nothing big. There was also just some small puddles on the floor, no standing water.

We (2 Adults) rode POTC twice after the refurb with no problems. 1st ride we were in the front row, and only felt minimal amounts of water, never soaked or even enough to get are shoes wet. As for our 2ed ride, we were in a back row, and again had no problems.

I can't comment on the reports that others have posted about waterlogged boats, as neither boat we rode in had standing water.

We rode pirates twice last week. Sat in the 3rd row both times. Didn't get wet at all. The only part I noticed that wasn't working was the scene where the woman chases the guy around in circles with a broom.

I will say it was down all day Tuesday. We rode Friday & Saturday.

Ride it a couple of weeks ago in the back row. There was a tiny bit of water, but nothing outrageous and did not get splashed at all. The ride looks GREAT after the refurb and all the AAs were working and looking sharp. I wish I would have had extra time to ride it again.

thanks for starting this thread! I'm totally riding next week no matter what and it's nice to hear there have been some dry experiences.

I haven't been following what experiences other people had, but I can give you mine. We rode three times the day it re-opened. We were in the front row twice. I got splashed by a canon spray when I was on the right side in the front. We got less wet than what we are accustomed to from previous years.

It was neat seeing the ride look so shiny and new! The dogs especially looked so fluffy and furry!

Loved the refurb. Everyone's clothes were so colorful and new. Little disappointed they didn't fix the mermaids. The only water I've experienced on the ride is a cannon ball splash. I always come off the ride bone dry.

We rode the morning of 10/9. Less than 10 minute wait standby. Asked to sit in the back row. Did not get wet. Enjoyed the refurb. Thumbs up!

We rode at the end of a MNSSHP night mid-October. Didn't get wet at all. Just had some slowing down towards the end. I think the boats got backed up a bit but only added about 5 minutes to the ride.

Rode that 3 days ago. It was three adults in the row and the boat was filled normally. Didn't get wet at all and the boat itself was dry too!

We rode it last week. Was not crowded yet so our boat was not over weighted. Second row. Got a light splash going down drop. Not enough to bother me, and I am one that does not like hair messed up! I do not know how wet the first two couple got. Sure they got somewhat. But it was fun and my daughter was happy the beginning was different as before the scene scared her.

We rode it last week and while there was a little spray at the bottom of the drop and again by the cannons, nothing big. There was also just some small puddles on the floor, no standing water.

Our experience as well.

I also found the updates to be great. Felt quite fresh. And there were parts of the scenery I had not noticed before. The lighting is so much better. (For my eyes, at least.)

Rode with a baby without issue as well.

We rode last Tuesday 10/27 and got a couple of drops on us, and that's it. I was on the far right of the third row. No standing water in the boat for us. It's also worth noting that they were not seating anyone in the first rows of any of the boats.

We rode a couple of time between 10/9 and 10/13. We did not get wet at all, though one time we were worried because the floor and seats of the boat were very wet.
