I enrolled in DAS for the first time this morning. I logged on around 9:45am and was speaking to someone around 10:30am or so. It was really quick. Told him simply what my issue was, then he took a photo. He explained the system to me since I'd never used it before, which I appreciated. (Didn't know that in-park selections didn't expire, which is nice.) Then he passed me over to someone in the chat to help with reservations.
They sent one form at a time. We booked the first three days and then the next three. Easy, but time consuming. I got a fair amount of morning times, which I was surprised about given some stories I've heard. I'm at day 29/30 ahead of my trip which maybe helps. The latest I got was 3:30pm for Test Track on the first day of the trip. I was able to get at 10:30am for Slinky Dog on the second day, though, which I was pleasantly surprised about. All in all, I'm very pleased with my experience, except for the logging out that would happen. Glad I read about that here so I was prepared for it.
I was surprised that some attractions were not bookable even though they don't have ILL anymore - like Frozen, Everest, and Space Mountain. But that's fine. I understand these selections are a bonus, and we can still choose them in the parks if we want. Just letting y'all know in case there's confusion about what you can and can't book ahead of time. (The usual suspects like SDMT, Remy's, ROTR, and FOP are of course not eligible for reservations ahead of time.)
