Poshmark for selling clothes

Has anyone had luck with Poshmark for selling worn clothes? I've sold one thing on there so far and some interest in others.

I've been on Poshmark for almost a year, and I've made $234 dollars by selling 46 things. That only averages out to about $5 per item, but that's more than I would get from a yard sale! It takes some patience, but it's been worth it for me so far.

I have sold 71 things according to my stats about $528.00. I have been doing it for a few years and I used to do a lot better. There are so many people on there now selling rather than buying and also new algorithms. So it's been increasingly more difficult. It has also become difficult to sell low end brands. By low end I mean Loft, Old Navy etc. People seem to want designer on there but for next to nothing. You have to devote a lot more time now with sharing and following a ton of people. Also sharing to parties helps. Try to follow people that have liked brands that you have listed in your closet. I try to share as often as I can but some days I just don't have the time. I also purchased a mannequin bust from a store that went of business in the mall that helped my items showcase better. If you want to post your closet name I can share your stuff to my followers. I've done ok. I've sold 12 things and made $423. I don't spend much time on it and have never shared or liked anybody's stuff. But the things I sell are in good shape and relatively high end. I've done well with kids things that would otherwise go in the donation pile.

That’s a good average price. Do you mind sharing the brands you’ve sold? I signed up for Poshmark a while back but haven’t made time to list anything yet and am wondering if it’s worth my time.

I've sold Vineyard Vines kids' things, Lululemon, Lilly Pulitzer, Adidas kids sneakers, Shoshanna dresses. Everything I've sold has been in excellent condition. If there is significant wear, I don't bother and just donate.

Agreed!! Sharing is everything. I've been on break from school for the past few weeks, so I've been focusing on sharing my items and joining share groups (just search for them in Poshmark listings). I've sold 14 items in this time, which is a huge increase compared to when I normally sell one or two items every few weeks.

I've been on there for a while and had some success. It's so saturated though so you have to have great pictures and descriptions. You can also try depop!
