I love this attraction...the water effects were the major part of the experience. Has anyone been to Poseidon's Fury recently? What is Universal saying? Anything official from them?

This is pretty disappointing as that was one of the coolest effects that I've seen on a ride like that. I always loved walking under that thing. Hopefully what that poster said about it being tempoary is true as I don't think it looks as cool with lighting and fog effects.

It's a walk through attraction in several sections. Even if the vortex isn't working you would still enjoy it. Try it just once to see what you think.

Absolutely worth seeing. The script could use some polishing, but overall a good attraction. While the water vortex is cool, I think it is secondary to the last 10 seconds of the show. My jaw was wide open and I was dumbfounded by the finale, but maybe I'm easily amused.

i have walked through this atraction several times, and i think it's brilliant.

as well as a great storyline, there are som really cool affects, and sometimes the story teller can really be funny and make jokes with the audience. oh... 1 of the best show's i've seen in a long while for sure!

We did it on this past Saturday and the room right before the vortex the guide was being yelled at from another employee that they found the professor. The guide ran off and out the exit as the door openned to the vortex, the water was off. Then the same employee that yelled said the were having problems and had us exit outside and back by Sinbad show.

Vortex still down and P.F. employees have no ETA on it coming back on. There is visible construction in the entrance on the express pass side.
