Poseidon's Fury, Sinbad & Water Rides

Thanks for the great advice, everyone! I think my son and I will probably try all the water rides because they all sound fun and different and my husband and daughter can pick and choose. I guess if I am already wet, what's a little more water? Or, maybe a lot more....

You don't need to get wet on One Fish Two Fish. If you listen to the song, it tells you how to avoid the water.

Well, not in the fish we were in. My friend and I had three fish to choose from. Two of the fish were getting drenched with water, so we chose the third. On this one, the water stream was hitting the front of the fish, not the seat. :::sigh::: We sit down and wait for the ride to start and the water stream changes direction...right into our laps. We got absolutely soaked before the ride even started. No worries. We were laughing hysterically. It was fun. After that, we rode the rest of the water rides.

Popeye, in my opinion, is still the best water ride of its kind. However, you should plan on significant soaking unless you get lucky.

We avoided them on our first trip 2 years ago in Feb when it was cold.
Going back this year in Nov and I def want to ride them. I guess I'll give the ponchos a try in hope of staying somewhat dry .

As we usually go in Jan, and love the water rides, we use to change our clothes and put shorts, flip-flops and a poncho before riding.
Sometimes we ride Popeye 3 times in a row and the go to Dudley and Jurassic Park.
When we are done (and drenched ) we change our clothes back and everything is ok ..
The only drawback is carrying a backpack with our clothes.
But we don't like to stay wet, so ....
