Portofino Questions....

My apologies in advance, but I can not get the search engine to work no matter what I do . We were thinking of staying off site at the Portofino Inn and Suites. Would love any and all comments regarding the rooms, cleanliness, customer service, pools including the hours they are open, hot tubs, etc... I am also looking for a real time answer in how long it takes you to walk to the park from there. I have Fibromyalgia and need to save any energy I can so I'm trying to figure out the distance so we can decide on weather to just drive the car each time or not, unless they offer a complimentary shuttle service?? Hey there! We stayed at the Portofino our last trip (December 07).. We originally were going to stay at the Desert Palms Inn and Suites, but we had to push our vacation back a week and the Desert Palms was all booked, so the CM with WDTC helped me choose a similar hotel and we picked the Portofino.. We ended up getting 2 queens instead of 1 king (it was just my DBF and I) since we booked at the last minute and that's all that was available..

Well on to the hotel! The rooms and the whole place was very nice. The rooms were clean, I had no complaints at all.. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was very clean.. The staff was very very nice.. The parking is free, and there is a very small garage if you want covered parking.. But it doesn't fit very many cars and was usually full.. We didn't go in the pool, so I can't help you there..

The distance is very walkable, we drove from the hotel, but we did see many families walking from the hotel..
