Portofino Inn & Suites

Has anyone ever stayed at the Portofino Inn & Suites near DL. Particularly, one of the kids suites. They look pretty cool on-line. Any comments appreciated.

I'll be staying at the Portofino in April. I posted a similar question about a month ago on this site. Basically, all of the replies were positive, particularly about the kids suite. We are really looking forward to going! I hope this helps.

We stayed in a kids' suite last June. The room looked pretty much like the pictures. There's a king bed, tv, armoire, and dresser in the first room, and a bunk bed, sofa sleeper, tv, mini fridge, and microwave in the next room. They're separated by a french doors. The room was clean and spacious--I'd stay again.

Be advised that Portofino uses a city shuttle service that stops at several other locations before arriving at DL. Also, we could never figure out the schedule! We just ended up showing up whenever and waiting. Also, the parking lot was always full! We were afraid to move our car for fear of not finding a space when we came back!
