Portofino Bay

Thinking of going for a 7 night break.

Been through the Virgin brochure which seems reasonable enough but wondered if it was possible to get it cheaper.

We don't want a car and Virgin do a free transfer.

Not much help from me, but I just thought I'd say what a wonderful resort Portofino Bay is.

You willl LOVE your stay at Portofino Bay, the staff are friendly, the facilities are amazing, the rooms are stunning - big, deluxe, amazing bathrooms!!

Plus you get a skip-the-queue pass for all of IOA's and Universal Studios attractions!!!

We loved our stay at Portofino, and wouldn't hesitate in returning. It was fully booked for this Xmas though, so we chose WL and Polynesian instead.

You'll certainly get it cheaper by booking separately. Discounts are available at Universal hotels with Annual Passholder, Entertainment and AAA rates.

Like Debbie mentioned, you can get some good discounts on PB room rates. Expedia also has some great rates at the moment.

But, if you want to book the whole package through Virgin Holidays, you can still get great discounts by :-

- Booking online =-10%
- Being a frequent Virgin member =-10%
- Book through a special link, which comes up from time to time on

You can also book through Virgin Travelstore and receive a 10% discount.
