Can anyone tell me about this restaurant? I can't seem to find any reviews for it.

Restaurants that are not on the dining plan don't get lots of attention on this board. But there've been a few comments from persons who've been there recently.

I ate there for the first time in January and was pleasantly surprised. It was very busy because it was the day before the marathon but even with the added traffic our food came out quickly, it was very good, and our service was excellent. I think it is the best Italian restaurant on property and I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again.

I haven't eaten at Il Mulino yet, but I agree that it's the best of the Italian restaurants I've tried on Disney property. The restaurant kind of overhauled their menu a couple years ago and they're now serving above-average Italian food in a casual setting. I love their antipasti platters and I've heard wonderful things about the black linguine with Florida rock shrimp. The wait staff are efficient. They're there when you need them, but they make themselves scarce when you don't. I appreciate that a lot.

Il Mulino is better but we enjoy Portabello Yacht Club also. It's more casual and we've been happy with the food.

We've eaten there twice and the food and service was very good.

We went for the first time since the overhaul in Jan of 09. It was really good, wonderful food, great service and a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommended. :hippie:
