Portobello Yacht Club Reservations

When making reservations for the Portobello Yacht Club, do you contact them directly, or do you book them through Disney Reservations? How far ahead is safe? Thanks.

Through them directly, since they are a Levy Restaurant, not a Disney restaurant. I believe you can book 45 days ahead but their policies are a bit looser than WDW's so you might call around 60 days to get a current read. They seem to tpyically do their booking by months rather than by exact days-out.
