Portion sizes at Yak & Yeti

The nocho's can really be split between two people....my husband has a big stomach and he said he would have been happy if we had just shared.

I looked at their menu and it has a section that has items shareable for two people.

We just ate at Yak and Yeti earlier this month. With the four of us (2 teenage girls) we split 2 entrees plus 2 appetizers. We had planned to also order dessert, but were too full.

I will have to go with NO unless you are not hungry as in just had a snack and plan on having dinner 4-5 hours later or had a very large lunch. When Yak and Yeti opened years ago my answer would have been different but they have cut back a lot in recent years... the same goes for most places you will eat now Disney owned or not at Disney. I find most outside places serve much larger portions that I can not finish if that helps.. but some of them are cutting back as well in recent times but still larger than what we get at Disney for most places.
if you want to share you have much better options for CS... TS places want you to order apps or dessert as these are the money makers for them... if everyone went in and ordered entrée and water only they would go out of business much less share.

I had the Sweet & Sour Chicken when I was there in October. As others have said, I think it depends. My husband and I cannot pass up egg rolls when we go out to eat so we ordered those plus the entree and then we had dessert. We had the Dining plan otherwise we would not have ordered dessert. I am in general not a big eater so I know I could have shared the food with someone else. My DH on the other hand can eat a lot so I couldn't have shared with him.

The Chicken was delicious by the way.

Silly question for those who've had the Honey Chicken: is the sauce honey flavored or more close to a sweet and sour sauce?

Five of us shared three deluxe credits and I was beyond stuffed, but we didn't order honey or sweet and sour chicken. We had tuna nachos and firecracker shrimp, then chicken and waffles, sriracha seafood mac n cheese and coconut shrimp followed by two orders of wontons and a mango pie. Portion sizes seemed very generous.

I think you could share an entree and appetizer or so. I went last August for lunch and both me and my BF were unable to finish our entrees. I thought the portions were pretty large, but it was also smack dab in the middle of a sunny, sweltering afternoon, in between lots of rides, which I do think can suppress appetite a bit. I hate wasting food and I think some restaurants "encourage" it due to their portions.
