Portable DVD Player

We are driving down in July and I wanted to purchase a portable DVD player. I just bought one in Target with duel screens for $169. It looks like a great player, but it can only be used in the car. I am looking for a portable DVD player that I can use in the car and with household electricity. Any sugggestions?

HMMMMM.....i dont think you can use a dual in the house. I think they are just meant for the vehicle....I could be wrong

The single screen ones can be used in the house....I have one of those....

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but.... In most electronics sections they sell an "adaptor" that allows you to insert the end that goes into your auto's power supply and plugs in to a wall electrical outlet. I don't know what it is officially called but at our Walmart & Traget it is in the cell phone charger area and works on our portable DVD players.

I don't know if you need a dual dvd player but I bought my DD-8 a single one for Christmas from Walmart. It is a Philips brand and works beautifully in the car and home. I think it was about $59 on sale.

You beat me to it. They even sale adapters that you can convert a regular plug into a car adapter and vice versa.
