Morning

Thinking of doing hotel/transfers through go Port Canaveral

Some hotels say “early to cruise”. If hotel based near airport do you know what time leave?

Has anyone used them and find them to be ok

If we just book our own hotel and do dcl transfer airport to port any idea what time the transfers start

Also wondering what time the ship actually starts boarding (know you have times)

Thank you

The DCL transfers from MCO start around 9AM and run continuously until 1:15PM. They take 45-50 min to reach the port.

Boarding starts around 11:30. When you check-in, you are assigned a boarding group. At that time, they call groups in order, every 2-3 minutes. By 12:30, all assigned groups have been called and they call open boarding. After that, you can board at any time.

I have no personal experience, but here are two threads where people share their experiences.

We've used them 3 times, already have them booked for next year. When you click on a hotel, it should say what time the early pick up is for the hotel. You don't have to book a hotel to see the info. They just started the early to pick up option, so we haven't used it. I think most have pick up around 9:30-10:30, but not positive. We've always stayed at a hotel by the airport and even without the early pick up we were always picked up anywhere from 10:45-11:30. We prefer getting to the port a little later. When we used them last Jan, there was some problem at the port or highway, don't remember which, and buses were running late for pick up. Someone from Go Port called and let us know that they were going to be a little late, they turned out only being about 20-30 mins late. There was another group who had already been waiting for their transport(not with GoPort) to pick them up and whoever they were waiting for was already 2 HOURS late, no call to tell them or anything. They had been trying to reach the transport but just kept being told, that the bus was going to be there soon. When our bus got there some of them asked if they could get on our bus, but it didn't have room for them. I still wonder if they ever made it.

We used them last week - stayed at Homewood Suites by MCO, and our pickup time was 9:30. Although we were picked up a little after 9:30, we were the first stop for this empty shuttle bus, and they stopped at 5 different hotels after us. We also circled back to a different stop that was not on his list, but he got a call saying another shuttle was full, and can the driver please swing by to pick up a stranded family of 3. Once at the port, they dropped off the Carnival passengers first, then Norwegian, and DCL last. All in all, our total trip time was over 2 hours. We got to the port at 11:50, which was already after our PAT. Although a convenient package, DH and I already decided that next time we will either go with DCL transport or Uber...the 2 hours on the shuttle was a waste of time.
