Port Orleans Riverside--what building to request

Hello! It will be hubby and I arriving at POR on the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving. We are there for four nights before moving to Beach Club Villas. We've never stayed here before, but I've heard good things about the resort. Since it will be the busy Thanksgiving holiday, I'm hoping that the tranquil feel of this resort will help offset the hustle and bustle everywhere else! Can you suggest a great location to request for our room? We would prefer to be close to a bus stop if at all possible. I think I prefer the rustic rooms more than the more refined from what I can tell from photos I've seen.

The most convenient Bldg. in the AB section is AB14. This is probably the most requested Bldg. In May we were in AB1832, corner room adjacent to the quiet pool. I would request either Bldg. 14, 15, 16, 17, or 18. We picked AB18 because there is no chance of getting a parking lot view there and I found AB14 to be noisy due to lots of traffic coming and going from the bus stop. Enjoy!!

I agree with the above poster. We have stayed in bldg 15 twice and like the location (convenient to food court/bus stop/main pool). We stayed in bldg 27 last time and this location was good as well. I would request 14,15,27 or 18 although 18 is a smoking option bldg. Good luck.

Have stayed in POR three times now...once in AB in bldg 35, in Magnolia Terrace, and last month in AB again in bldg 14. I have to say that my room in 14 (1408) has to be physically the closest room to the main bldgs and the bus stop in the entire resort. (at least as the crow flies). Only issue we had was the comings and goings from the main bus stop. It was a corner room so we got a lot of people sightings!! But....it was really great to be so close to everything. I would think that bldg 15 is a tad quieter though. And the mansion section is very quiet!! I would request bldg 15 just because it's a little further back than 14 and a bit quieter without quite so much foot traffic going past. Or ask for 14 and a room towards the back.
