I was wondering if anyone has stayed in Royal rooms lately and noticed if there are enough outlets for electronics. I know some of the Disney resorts are getting USB outlets placed in addition to regular outlets. We'll have at least 3 phones and 3 camera battery packs to charge at night. Everything else we can make do with alternating things. Also what kind of coffee do the coffee makers use? Is it regular grinds or a single use pod?

The Royal Rooms have regular outlets in the nightstand between the beds. There are also several outlets throughout the room on the walls. No USB outlets. Remodeling is taking place throughout the resort, but the Royal Rooms haven't been updated yet. We take a power strip just to keep all electronics centrally located so everyone isn't running all over the room looking for their phone in the morning or forgetting a charger at check out. :rolleyes1

The Cuisinart coffee makers use pods, like tea bags, not Kcups. You can brew 2 separate cups at once. Your room will be supplied with regular and decaf pods, sugar, artificial sweetener and powdered cream. You can always request more supplies from housekeeping. Last weekend we had special blend pods for Mickey's 90th birthday. The coffee was pretty good for pods.
