My husband and I were thinking of going to WDW for a long weekend in Dec. Upon looking at the rooms on a few websites, I found that 2 Queen Beds will be a little cheaper than 1 King Bed.
Being that we do not need the 2nd bed, do you think I should still book the 2 Queen Beds for the cheaper price? Pay more for the 1 King Bed? The size of the bed does not really matter that much to us. It's just that I feel the room could have been booked by someone else, say a family of 4 or 5 that would have better use of the 2nd bed.

I've stayed in a standard room to save money...but if money wasn't a concern, I'd book the king EVERY SINGLE TIME. For some reason queen beds feel teeny tiny to me now

There is only the 2 of us, and we always get 2 queen beds. We can use the other one for other things, if we don't use it.
We are at an age that we sleep better on vacation in separate beds. I listen to music or read, while my husband just wants to sleep quietly. It works for us.

How much of a price difference is it? We'd be able to tolerate Queen beds on a long weekend trip if the savings was worth it. If the price difference is negligible, I'd go for the king. Also, whenever we've had a king at POR, it's either had a decent view or been a corner room which is nice.
